Dave Koz Fort Lauderdale Concert reviews
Cole Swindell sounds great live
Dave Koz took the stage with energy and brought the crowd to our feet. He really gets the crowd involved too. A lot of them did and it was cool to see so many people having a blast. Most singers don't sound as good in concert as they do in the studio, but Dave Koz sounds even better live. Unfortunately Kane Brown still had two songs left. It sounded like a bad karaoke performance. We arrived around 8:30 thinking the opening acts would be done by then. Mercifully he spent the last several minutes on stage just wasting time with his band. When he sang "Get Up" he encouraged all the ladies to get up on shoulders. Dave didn't waste any time on stage and got to as many of his songs as he could, including some of my favorites from his albums that aren't as well known. He performs his songs flawlessly and brings them to life. He also sang 3 hit songs that he had written for other singers and performed them even better than the singers who recorded them. The only song I really wanted to hear and didn't was "Hey Y'all," but he ended with my favorite, "You Aint Worth the Whiskey," and had the whole crowd singing it. It was a fun concert and Dave Koz is one of the best live singers I've ever heard.
